apparently, i have always been concerned with the future of media.
Back in 1988, I made the radical suggestion to my high school newspaper staff that we stop producing a traditional paper (with typesetting and printing presses and only published monthly) and start making a one-page double-sided weekly that we'd create using desktop publishing software (on our hot new Macintosh II), cut up photographs, and the school's office copier. This one action in 1988 should explain everything I've ever done since.
